Actually, it represents one of the longest and deepest experiments in socializing self-management in the french industrial system. But it is also the scene of a prominent initiative in continuous education. Everything has been attempted indeed as if it was the result of a definitely educating conviction i.e. as if its promoters (Marcel Barbu and Marcel Mermoz) had been urged right from the beginning by the wish to create a structure giving its firts attention to promoting the education of its members, among other aims, therefore to check the assumption of their educability. This central scheme upon which the boimondau work community is based as well as its forms, or even the details of its organization are searched in the middle of the community's experience in the records of the work community (1941-1951).; La communaute de travail Boimondau (boitiers de montre du Dauphiné) est généralement perçue comme une structure originale de production. En ce sens elle constitue une des expériences les plus longues et les plus poussées de socialisation auto-gestionnaire, en milieu industriel français. Mais elle est aussi le lieu d'une initiative remarquable d'éducation permanente. Tout s' est passé en effet comme si sa création émanait d'une conviction d'ordre foncièrement éducatif, c'est-à-dire comme si ses promoteurs (Marcel Barbu et Marcel Mermoz) avaient été d'emblée mus par la volonté de créer une structure prioritaitement préoccupée, parmi d'autres objectifs, de favoriser l'éducation de ses membres, donc de vérifier le postulat de leur éducabilité. Cette intention centrale autour de laquelle s'est construite la communauté Boimondau, aussi bien que ses modalités, voire les détails de son organisation, sont recherchés au coeur de l'expérience communautaire, dans le gisement des archives de la communauté de travail, témoin de sa premiere décennie (1941-1951)..Bibliography: Bibliogr. f. 515-522.
